Raising Awareness Nationwide!

"Before I can here i didn't understand this health problem myself, i have struggled with this for years and only now am i getting a handle on it.

I have got my staff who are helping me understand it, and my community nurse.

I am making a poster/leaflet for other women with a learning disability to raise awareness and help them understand.

I am not stopping here, my mission is to get it put out across the whole NHS, so when someone like me who didn't always have help, can read it and understand it. I work better with pictures and i know other people will too.

You can see what i am working on below, its taken a few weeks but i have nailed it now.

I am now planning to educate other women like me with the same issue. my nurse and staff at amelia are now helping me after the Covid-19 do sessions for other women like me. i am so excited.

I just want to help other people, like me!
